SASSA Takes Expert Services to Fernie Community

Tuesday, August 27, 2024

The South African Social Security Agency (SASSA) in Mpumalanga is currently browsing the Fernie two Group Hall in Mpuluzi to render expert services to your community.

SASSA will probably be rendering expert services which include new social grant applications, change of payment method, customer care enquiries, along with the Social Relief of Distress (SRD) COVID-19 grant enquiries.

In a statement, the agency reported it is actually alarmed with regard to the significant range of people counting on social grants for survival.
“The goal from the Integrated Registration Outreach Programme [ICROP] is to reach-out to a high number of clients/beneficiaries to access SASSA services.

“This really is because of the lack of infrastructure at Fernie and there's no thoroughly functional office focused on service the area on a daily basis. The SRD company position produced for intervention experiences a superior influx of possible beneficiaries, that makes it tough with the office to attend to all people who visit a service point.

“In this reach-out programme, SASSA will mobilise far more resources to permit the servicing of all clients and maximize access to Social Assistance expert services,” the agency said.
